All parents and volunteers, in order for you to work in or around our buildings, you must clear an ODE and CSD background check and complete mandatory training.

Clearance Procedure

Parents, Volunteers, Agents and Contractors (engaged to provide services to the District through any formal or informal agreement, whether compensated or uncompensated), in both direct & indirect student contact situations, are required to complete a Background Check Application which includes a criminal history records check & ODE verification. (Required with every contract.) Additionally, those who will have the opportunity for direct, unsupervised contact with students will need an ODE fingerprint check.

Mandatory Training

Please contact your school secretary to be set up with the mandatory training to volunteer.

• Concussion Awareness: Athletics

• Discrimination Awareness in the Workplace

• Integrated Pest Management

• PSA: Bullying and Hazing

• Sexual Conduct: Staff-to-Student

• Sexual Harassment: Staff-to-Staff

• Sexual Misconduct: Staff-to-Student

• Students Experiencing Homelessness: Awareness and Understanding

• Youth Suicide: Awareness, Prevention and Postvention

• Title IX Compliance Overview

If you have taken these trainings with another Oregon district, you may submit the transcript/certificate to your secretary for credit.
