Colton School District is on a 2-hour delay for Tuesday, April 12. Elwood and Upper Highland will be on snow routes.

UPDATE: Colton Schools are closed for Monday, April 11.

Colton Schools are on a two-hour delay Monday, April 11 due to the weather.

In an continued effort to move back to normal starting next week all Colton Schools will have moved away from bag lunches in the classroom to having food served to them cafeteria style. This will allow us to provide more lunch options.
Please know each day students have an option of the hot meal or a sandwich or a salad. Plus at all schools we have a salad bar that gives an inviting variety of fruits and vegetables. We are working hard to give kids a variety so they receive a meal they want to eat.
Meals are still free for all students through the end of this school year.
We want to say thank you for our food service staff that are working hard everyday to give students variety and listen to what students like and dislike. We may be limited by what USDA allows us to serve and what is available with the current food shortage but they are doing their best to make our kids smile everyday.
Please take a minute to read an article written by a CHS student about school lunches.
